TOP END Technologies was created by me Philip Zimbardi. Since I was 13 years old I have been heavily involved in the internet and computer programming. I began long long ago spending looong long hours and days surfing the internet and playing around with many different software available. In the 7th grade I asked a fellow computer 'nerd' if he had any cool software for me to load up on my computer and he gave me a disc of some random programs. One of the programs on the disc was called, WinLogo. WinLogo was a programming language that started what would soon be my base of computer programming. The software allowed you to write software that could only be run from within winLogo. While it was not enough to create full applications for others to use, it allowed me to learn what computer programming was about and how to make the computer do what I wanted. I began by making a small art program to draw things in winLogo. The small art program soon grew to become a LARGE art program with pages of code.

Beyond that I began looking at other peoples programs and reading the code to see if I could figure out what each line was telling the computer. Eventually the concepts sunk in and I began to love programming a computer to do tasks at the click of a mouse. Around the same time I was introduced to a DOS form of programming called QBasic. With QBasic I could write text applications that run in a DOS enviroment. For the most part the fuctions of PRINT TO SCREEN and INPUT OPTIONS where the main fuctions. Eventually with time the software got more complex and was able to create more useful applications. I beleive my first software written in QBasic was a application that provided an easy way to look up special moves for a specific video came, and then made it able to easily print based on the users selection.

Once in High School I immediately signed up for whatever Computer classes I could get into. At this point I was already pretty far ahead of almost all the other peers in any of the classes and it showed. Sophmore year I took a class of Computer Science and it was not until this point my Computer skills had been shown to others and I had been recognized as possibly 'gifted' in the programming field of computers. My applications where usually of the highest quality in any of the classes and the teachers soon caught on. I was awarded a cirtificate of Acheivement for Computer Science half way through my second semester of Programming Class. The Computer science teacher had let the dean and guidance counseler know of my extreme level of skills in the field and at one point we went as far as to take a day off of school to visit some other more 'high tech' schools in the area to see if I could get a higher level of education in computer programming than that of my current school, as the Computer department was somewhat of lacking. We checked out a couple schools but nuthing seemed to be what we were looking for and I ended up just staying at the current school and taking as many computer courses as the school had to offer. After completing CSII, I was recommended to take Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science. While I could handle the tasks provided, the amount of work that was required was extremely a lot. I soon got behind on my programs and the stress was too much and had no choice but to excuse myself from the class. As much as I loved the class, it was not worth the extreme stress on a daily basis.

Junior year I had gone to a new high school and of course signed up for several computer classes there as well. Here there were no more computer programmign classes for me, but there was several Computer Graffics classes. I signed up and again was recognized by my teachers and peers as highly skilled in the Computer Graffics department as well. Several of my art work was put on display at the school art show, while others had one, and most had none. The teacher asked me if I would like to work on a project she had ben working on of an animation of a story. She told me only the best artist she knew were able to work on it. I did what I could for her during the school year until the year had ended. Again at this school I was awarded another Cirtificate of Acheivement in Computer Graffics at a special award cerimony held after school.

About half way through High School I began making websites. I started with a site about my car and it soon grew to a site that others could visit and post there car as well. During a study hall in the library a friend had seen me checking my website and had told me he made websites as well and made a lot of money doing it. He told me a few tips and soon my site had gone from personal homepage to a public site that I was too making a decent amount of cash on. Over the year we helped each other by exchanging ideas and tips to help eachother make a better website.

Today 6 years later, I have grown that website into a complete online store with over 10,000,000 hits a month and over 26,000 search engine listings. I continued to make more websites and the listing have continued to grow brining in more and more revenue. Today I set my own hours and make a lot more money than most of my friends and even some of there parents. I love computers and I love to spend extra time perfecting my creations. I beleive my obsession of perfection is what set me apart from the rest and I beleive it will continue to do that for many years to come. 2006 I decided it would be a good idea to go commercial with my talents and begin making high quality websites for companys and hopefully gain a good reputation of over providing my clients wishes.

I want to thank everyone who has provide me with just that one peice of the puzzle that when I put them all together has landed me such a wonderful job and a lifestyle I could only dream of.

Thank you,

Phil Zimbardi
